Over the course of the last few years, we at NeuFutur have gotten a tremendous amount of different wines, spirits, beers, and the like. In that time, we’ve filled out our Alcohol Reviews section considerably, but it has always seems as if there was something missing. We received a bottle a while back that I believe brings our wine and spirits coverage to the next level.

This bottle is the Moet &Chandon Rose Imperial, a champagne that can be picked up for around 40-60 dollars. The Rose Imperial is a blending of a number of different grapes, with a lion’s share comprised of Pinot Noir (50-60%). Other important parts of the Rose Imperial composition are Pinot Meunier (20-30%), Chardonnay (10-20%), and the rest vins de reserve. When uncorking the bottle, what becomes immediately evident is that this Rose blends the best of boldness with fruit – think Strawberries or Raspberries.

The pour of the Rose imparts a stunning ochre-meets-copper to one’s glass, while the effervescence of the champagne will continually tickle a nose. This champagne would be the perfect purchase for a birthday, anniversary, or any other sort of classy party. While there typically are some sort of food limitations for wines, I believe that the Moet &Chandon Rose Imperial has the versatility to shine no matter what sort of meat (chicken, Pork, Beef) or meal one has prepared. For an added bonus, check out http://www.mymoet.com; while the Rose Imperial is not a customizable option at this point, make your presence known if you would like your Rose Imperial purchase to be that much more special.
