After being crowned “Artist of The Week” at MTV’s Iggy blog and performing a triumphant show at SXSW to a capacity crowd at Beauty Bar, Minneapolis-band Dearling Physique is now prepping a follow-up to its “Discipline Your Hands” video. The clip (most recently featured by OUT Magazine) has drawn attention to Dearling Physique’s flair for visual and musical complexities and to its debut album Deadeye Dealer. The clip also features costumes by designer Kevin Kramp whose work was recently featured by Italian Vogue.

The follow-up video set to shoot this week, is for the album track “Hooks For Safety” and finds Dearling Physique leader Domino and “Discipline Your Hands” star Mae reprising the characters they introduced in the original clip. In “Hooks For Safety,” Domino and Mae have traveled to the ends of the earth, physically unable to separate from each other. Lost inside a seemingly endless forest, Domino and Mae’s laborious journey comes to an abrupt halt when they are confronted by a new group of characters known as the Gatekeepers who have a mysterious agenda.
