Indie metal entity The Flenser, who recently announced the signing of Louisville, Kentucky’s avant-doom unit SEIDR to their potent label roster, today confirm more info on the band’s debut full-length, For Winter Fire.

SEIDR’s recently completed For Winter Fire debut boasts gargantuan, organic doom metal riffing displayed in an epic yet harrowing display of force. A slight post-metal atmospheric edge envelops the otherwise crushing tectonic force of the album’s blackened-doom core. With direct ties to black metal act Panopticon — also a part of The Flenser’s label family — SEIDR is already a name a diehard core of underground metal fiends are aware of, making the For Winter Fire release a label priority for the year.

Set for official release in North America on May 24, and in Europe on June 7, eager fans can actually pre-order For Winter Fire direct from The Flenser at a discount rate for a limited time. Check out an audio sample featuring several clips from the album and pre-order it at this location now.
