Proclaimed “amazing” by Performing Songwriter for creating what the Chicago Reader calls “perfectly molded power-pop,” Moonlight Towers are “Austin’s favorite three-minute heroes” according to the Austin American-Statesman and the music city’s “finest power pop export” (Pop Culture Press).

Moonlight Towers has just released its third album Day Is The New Night and this week is launching a tour in support of it that will see the band doing what they do best throughout the Eastern half of the US. Moonlight Towers (taking its name from the tall vintage streetlights that illuminate Austin’s nights) is a genuine band that does what comes naturally: writing, recording and playing real rock n’ roll. It’s really that simple.

Read a review of Day Is The New Night from BLURT to learn more about the foursome’s finest and richest offering yet. Such superlatives become viscerally tangible the moment the band steamrolls into “Heat Lightning,” (MP3) the album’s aptly named lead track. The timeless potency of two mighty guitars and muscular bass and drums bring the urgency, buoying vocals that alternately sear and soar. Day Is The New Night by Moonlight Towers is available now from Chicken Ranch Records.

Members of Moonlight Towers are available for interviews. Contact Josh Bloom at Fanatic for more information.
