Hotel Carolina, the annual singer-songwriter music festival, is scheduled to rock the Windjammer in Isle of Palms, SC, September 22, 23 and 24, 2011. The event is hosted by Rock Ridge Music. Hotel Carolina boasts a line-up of popular singer-songwriters, and fans will get to see all of their favorites on one stage over the course of the three-day event. A Thursday night show has been added this year to the already jam-packed Friday and Saturday plans, offering fans the opportunity to see even more great music over the course of the long weekend.

This year’s line-up includes:
Tony Lucca, Matt Duke and Jay Nash performing as TFDI
Ernie Halter
Keaton Simons
Ingram Hill
Josh Hoge
Curtis Peoples
Jared Finck
Matt Hires
Rachel Platten
Nina Storey
Jared McCloud
Todd Carey
Maggie McClure & Shane Henry

Says Rock Ridge Music President Jason Spiewak about the event: “We at Rock Ridge are completely stoked for this year’s Hotel Carolina! Fans can expect a fun weekend of music, games, and great vibes with a growing community of incredible people, as well as a few surprises along the way. We’re thrilled to be at The Windjammer and to be returning the event to the month of September, which will help many fans keep a few more dollars in their pocket for an extra cold beverage or two.”

“I can recall two occasions in my career where I managed to lose track of time for longer than a 48 hour period,” says third-year Hotel Carolina alum Tony Lucca. “Those occasions were Hotel Carolina 1 and 2. Nothing beats getting to make music with your friends for days on end while kickin’ it with the good folks who make it all possible: the fans.” Ingram Hill lead singer is psyched to take part in their very first Hotel Carolina: “We are very excited to be a part of Hotel Carolina this year! We’ve heard such great things about it, and we couldn’t be happier that we get to take part in all the fun times. See you soon.” Says returning Hotel Carolina performer Matt Duke: “You know that time you went to that wine and cheese party and you got all dressed up and sniffed your glass so you didn’t feel out of place when everyone was trying the Cabernet from 1952? But then, all of sudden, some dude with a familiar face rushes in with a case of Bud Light, some shooters, a bottle of tequila, a frisbee, and a Journey’s Greatest Hits compilation…are you remembering? And then everyone loosened up, starting singing along, dancing with each other, making out in closets, streaking through your neighborhood, and yelled out in unison, ‘We’re totally f***ing doing it!!!!!’…? Yeah…that dude is Hotel Carolina. So put down that triscuit and port wine cheese and order some tater tots because it’s totally f***ing happening again.”

Tickets are $99 and are available at www.welcometothehotelcarolina.com. The ticket price includes admission to all three evening shows (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), admission to a Saturday afternoon jam session (includes complementary BBQ lunch), and participation in “Camp Carolina,” a series of activities where fans and artists hang out together and compete alongside each other for bragging rights and prizes. Hotel Carolina is open to fans 18 years of age or older.
