A house is not a home but a venue is. New York’s electro-rockers Jump Into The Gospel will be setting up camp at Pianos next month for their June residency. Be sure to catch them each Wednesday for a night of splashy synths, punchy melodies, and turbulent vocals..
With a sound that brings to mind a cross between Friendly Fires, Passion Pit, and the early Manchester music scene, Jump Into The Gospel echo the warm fuzzy, synth rock that we’ve all come to love. Lust, danger, and glamour ooze from the band’s unforgettable melodies and lo-fi anthems. Be sure to check out the band burst the seams of Pianos on June 8th, 15th, 22nd and the 29th (free show).

Jump Into The Gospel is fronted by Louis Epstein, a native New Yorker, whose emphatic vocals and interspersed wailing falsettos, are reminiscent of Robert Smith, David Byrne, and Shaun Ryder. Featuring an assemblage of indie all-stars, Jump Into The Gospel also features current and past members of The Drums and Holy Ghost!

In the spirit of proper DIY, Jump Into The Gospel have also released a self-titled 7” EP which includes a trifecta of bangers with a remix by Grvrbbrs (members of Cobra Starship). Jump Into The Gospel have already begun turning heads with their full-throttle approach to live performance. Nylon Magazine gushed saying “the songs might have a sugary, guilty-pleasure vibe, with music this good, you definitely don’t have anything to feel guilty about.” With a spate of new songs on the way, be sure to catch them each Wednesday all released and unreleased gems during their Pianos residency next month.
