Open the Trap Doors June 4th at a record store near you. The Santa Ana band, known for its crafty blend of rock and roll, blues, and folk tunes, is releasing its new, more contemporary record from their own indie imprint, Vacant Bunny Records.

Leading the way is the supercharged single, Our Group Won’t Be The Same, set to release May 13th, 2011. Things indeed have changed considerably for this California band with a strangely familiar ability to rock and roll with the best bands in the country.

Trap Doors, complete at four tracks, features a first for the Inkblots: a full track, Ay Te Dejo (I’ll let you be), in Spanish. To celebrate the release of the new 4 track EP, the Inkblots are playing an all ages show at The Old Ship in their hometown of Santa Ana, California.

Meet Sam on vocals and guitar, Irving on drums, Jesus on guitar and Bernie the bassman June 4th at The Old Ship or at a venue near you.
