New Jersey’s latest musical offering The Static Jacks will take their infectious high energy indie rock on the road this June when they embark on an East Coast trek with Austin psychedelic rockers White Denim. News of the tour comes on the heels of The Static Jacks announcing the August release of their debut album If You’re Young and will give fans an opportunity to hear some of the new songs live. Kicking off the tour at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, DC, on June 21st, the week long run will end at Schuba’s in Chicago.

The Static Jacks kicked off the news of their upcoming album release with the help of Filter Magazine last week – who premiered the new song “Girl Parts” (featuring guest vocals by Ceci Gomez of Beast Make Bomb) on Filter’s website and via their daily newsletter. The band also released news of their inclusion in the first ever Escape to New York festival this August featuring headliners Patti Smith and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Having already played shows with The Futureheads, The Like, Titus Andronicus and Young the Giant, the trek with White Denim will only further establish this young Garden State band as a live act not to miss. Catch them on tour this summer in anticipation of their debut album If You’re Young out August on Fearless Records and their own imprint Fenway Recordings/Nobody People.
