This week marked the release of Sure as Hell Not Jesus, the new EP from controversial British singer-songwriter Cosmo Jarvis. The title track from the 4-track set is being promoted with an eye-opening video (link( (directed by Cosmo himself) that premiered on Good Friday and has already racked up over 30,000 hits on YouTube.

Cosmo is known for thought-provoking visuals. His viral sensation “Gay Pirates” has received over 420,000 YouTube views since it’s debut last November, and attracted the notice of media on both sides of the Atlantic. In total, his YouTube page has received over a million views.

The Sure as Hell Not Jesus EP contains four tracks altogether, and also includes “What’s wrong with Betty (Part 1)”, which will appear on Cosmo’s forthcoming full-length album Is The World Strange Or Am I Strange?- scheduled for release in mid August 2011.
