“Dave Matthews Band Caravan” – Dave Matthews Band’s first-ever traveling festival – will kick off later this month at Atlantic City’s Bader Field, formerly the site of the first U.S. municipal airport for both seaplanes and land-based planes. The event – set for June 24, 25 and 26 – will feature a diverse lineup of musical talent performing on three stages during the day and a full set by headliners Dave Matthews Band each night. The group is taking the year off from touring, so the “Caravan” will mark its only performances of 2011. The “Caravan” will subsequently stop in Chicago, New York and Washington.

With its central location on the Eastern seaboard, Atlantic City is easily accessible from such major metropolitan areas as New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC via air, bus, car, Amtrak and New Jersey Transit. Located in one of the fastest growing urban regions of New Jersey, the seaside resort offers an exceptional range of attractions and amenities, including hotels, gaming, nightlife, fine dining, spas, pristine beaches and the city’s historic boardwalk.
