This year, two amazing acts are set to perform at the 2011 Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL! Christian metalcore giants THE CHARIOT will be headlining the HM Encore Stage in the Underground Tent on Sunday, July 3rd at 11:15pm, sharing the stage with The Satire, War of Ages, and more. THE CHARIOT is performing at Cornerstone during their run with the SCREAM THE PRAYER tour. REFORM THE RESISTANCE will be performing at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 30th on the Sanctuary Stage (technically 12am, Friday, June 31st).
With a hard earned and accomplished sales history of over 100,000 units and years of vigorous global touring, THE CHARIOT have entrenched themselves as a standout in the hard and aggressive music movement. Founded in Douglasville, GA by vocalist and band leader Josh Scogin, THE CHARIOT forged a path for themselves with a tireless work ethic. While THE CHARIOT have produced a number of critically and commercially acclaimed recordings, it is their live show that shall forever live on as the beating pulse of the band’s heart. Make sure not to miss this pinnacle moment in THE CHARIOT’s live performance career.
REFORM THE RESISTANCE is comprised of former Justifide members Jason Moncivaiz (vocals/guitar) and Sambo Moncivaiz (bass) of Phoenix, AZ and drummer Ryan Dugger (drums) of Nashville, TN. The creation of REFORM THE RESISTANCE represented freedom within their songwriting, as well as the ability to be themselves. With the skill to mesh influences, all while creating a new sound and speaking their minds, REFORM THE RESISTANCE offers a breath of fresh air amongst carbon-copy bands. This is an exciting performance in the career of this bright new act. Be sure not to miss it!
