7 Months Later begins their “Time to Decide” with some tremendously interesting emotive rock that gradually gains speed until the band can go all out. The swirling eddies of guitars and drums that come forth will immediately impress listeners, even as they work together with the aforementioned vocals to push the track further. “Disengage” continues the same threads initially inserted in “Time to Decide”, but the band keeps things fresh and interesting through the inclusion of a slightly electronic touch. With a glorious chorus, 7 Months Later create a track in “Disengage” that will likely be their first single.

“Time and Time Again” shows that the band can switch up their overall sound at the drop of a hat; the more introspective sound that becomes the norm during the track provides listeners with another facet of the act. What results as the track rolls on resembles a miniature epic in the vein of Green Day and Say Anything; the interplay between the distinct arrangements makes this into a must-listen track. While it is true that the five minute track length may scare away potential listeners, the band is tremendously capable and will keep things interesting from beginning to end. “All Out” keeps things slow and touching; while this an unapologetic love song, all – no matter how grizzled they may be – will see the beauty that 7 Months Later inserts here.

As “Time to Decide” continues to spin on, the number of styles and sounds broached here continually increases. This album is not one that will sputter out towards the end; “La Douleur” is a perfect example of this. By including only vocals and a piano during this track, there is a more close and intimate sound created that will make this album resound loudly in the ears of anyone that is lucky enough to listen in. Make sure to pick up a copy of “Time to Decide” whenever you can scratch together the money and see the act live whenever they come to your neck of the woods.
