Hailed as Clear Channel’s “New Artist to Watch” – The Young Presidents – are following up their June release of debut album Freedom of Speech, with an extension of tour dates throughout the Southeast. Eager to take the record’s tracks on the road, the band prepares to start travel at the end of July, instruments in hand through select states until September.

The rock trifecta features Jake Hertzog on guitar and vocals, bassist Mitchell Kaneff, and Leon Bibi on the kit. Citing greats like Nirvana, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, and Train as influences, the threesome delivers tracks with a strong Alt-Rock exterior and a core of expertly articulated classic rock sensibilities. Freedom of Speech, which was released on MKM Records/KMG Music, boasts the group’s hit single “Wide Open”. The single serves as the perfect tune to whet appetites, markedly showcasing their keen awareness for stitching modern rock complexities with a throwback to power-trio compositions.
