Essential Group Management, headed by Rick Clair, today announced that Lindsay Lohan appeared in MIGGS’ video for the single, “Let the Games Begin.” The hard-pulsing rock tune by the Tampa-based trio is the second single off MIGGS’ latest album, “Wide Awake”. The video was shot over three days in Hollywood, CA and was directed by Justin Purser (Midi Mafia, Tynisha Kelly, Horrorpops).

Don Miggs, the band’s guitarist and lead singer, said, “We were thrilled to have Lindsay in our video. She is an extremely gifted actress with a great deal of charisma. Our music and her talent was a great match on-screen.”

The summer of 2011 has been a busy time for MIGGS. Before filming their video, MIGGS played the Emerging Artist stage of Summerfest 2011 in Wisconsin on July 10. Summerfest is considered to be the “World’s Largest Music Festival.” During September and October, MIGGS will take the stage with New Orleans natives, Cowboy Mouth and multi-platinum recording artist, Candlebox, who are touring in support of their latest release, “Into the Sun,” for over 20 shows.

In October, MIGGS will enter the studio to record their fifth album. Fourteen-time Grammy award winner and musical legend, Phil Ramone, will produce the currently untitled project. Ramone’s list of credits includes collaborations with artists such as, Billy Joel, Bono, Chicago, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Sir Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, James Taylor and Stevie Wonder.

Don Miggs added, “We are blessed to have the chance to work with a musical legend the caliber of Mr. Ramone. There are few producers in the history of popular music that are as accomplished or respected and I know that under his direction, our talent will be in great hands.”
