Fans of 2005’s Hoodwinked will be pleased to know that this is a fairly straightforward sequel to the original Hoodwinked. In this film, a star-studded cast that includes Hayden Panettiere (Red), Patrick Warburton (Wolf), Bill Hader and Amy Poehler (Hansel and Gretel) and even Glenn Close (Granny) will have viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the film’s entire hour and a half runtime. The film is fleshed out through the inclusion of the voice talents of Cheech and Chong, David Ogden Stiers (M.A.S.H.), and Joan Cusack. Hoodwinked Too! has Twitchy, Granny, and Wolf joining forces to save the lives of Hansel and Gretel from the evil Verushka. Verushka’s evil knows no bounds, as ey has stolen a recipe from Granny and is forcing eir to make the delicacy.

The quality of the video and audio transfer of Hoodwinked Too! is absolutely flawless, with the action seeming continually sharp. Tied to this, the audio track ensures that viewers will be greeted with an experience that is as close to a theatrical experience as possible. In a time period in which it feels as if a few design studios have an oligopoly on the creation of computer generated features, the fact that Hoodwinked Too! can come out and be so strong is a testament to any independent concern that may wish to release their visions.
