IMPENDING DOOM will enter the studio this week to work on their upcoming yet to be titled new record. The band will begin work with producer Andreas Magnusson with the all mighty Machine for mixing. “After months of preparation the time has finally come to start production on our next full length! Without going into the cliche of trying to explain how this is our ‘heaviest’ or ‘most mature’ material, I will spare the insincere rant and just say that this is by for OUR favorite material and we can’t wait to share it with you guys,” says guitarist Cory Johnson.

IMPENDING DOOM recently concluded a successful run on the “The Nocturnal Alliance Tour”, a non-stop assault on the US and Canada. The band co-headlined along side Mychildren Mybride.

The band recently signed a world wide deal with eOne Music. “We’re very excited to start a new chapter in our career on a label who has proven to be a staple in the metal community. We’re certain that with our new material, the touring plans we have on the horizon and having such a powerful label behind us there will be no stopping Impending Doom,” Johnson concludes.

IMPENDING DOOM have achieved success in recent years with releases like “The Serpent Servant” and “There Will Be Violence;” both cracking the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Often seen on tour with acts like CHIMAIRA, WHITECHAPEL and AUGUST BURNS RED, the band has no plans of stopping now.

IMPENDING DOOM are Brook Reeves on vocals, Cory Johnson on guitar, David Sittig on bass and Brandon “B-Town” Trahan on drums.
