When the members of Peelander-Z came to Earth from planet Peelander, they didn’t plan to make such an impact on its citizens, but it’s happening and it’s good! In fact, it’s not just good, it’s great. So great, that Peelander-Z has released a two disc greatest hits set (one of songs, one of karaoke sing-along videos) called Super DX Hitz, out now via the Chicken Ranch record label. Peelander-Yellow says, “There is no doubt that this is the greatest hits album of Peelander-Z. All the Peelander-Z songs you want to hear are in this album!!!”
The album contains a handful of re-recorded (labeled “DX”) versions of some of Peelander-Z’s fan favorites. One of these is “S.T.E.A.K” which, when performed live, commands the audience to chant how they like it cooked: “Medium rare!” If you haven’t been to a Peelander-Z show (and why haven’t you?), then the karaoke version of the “S.T.E.A.K” video should get you prepped. And speaking of Peelander-Z live, the band’s never-ending tour continues as they come off of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour and announce new headlining and festival dates, as well runs with The Aggrolites and Those Darlins.
