“Our hope is, in a time where party songs rule the airwaves Farewell To Good Days brings more substance and less filler to the listener craving something different” —
explains singer Benjamin Franklin VanBuskirk

“Farewell To Good Days” is the follow-up to the band’s first single “Hapless”, that impacted radio in March and remains a staple on many playlists nationwide, charting at #35 and staying in top 50 for over 17 weeks, within the first month or so the song was added to over 2 dozen active rock stations around the country and climbing into the top 40 airplay charts for active rock which is no small feat for a new act with their debut single on an independent label. In the past year Seven Day Sonnet has gone from dingy basement clubs to touring with household name bands like Saliva, Sevendust and Adelitas Way, recording with Grammy Award-winning producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down) and Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind, Sevendust) and the band has no intention of slowing down. Look for their debut album coming Spring 2012.
