This is by far the most popular product that we have received for review at NeuFutur. Herr’s latest effort, their Hot Sauce Flavored Potato Chips, is simply amazing. While we usually focus on the health side of things, sometimes it is nice to just pig out. It seems as if the hot sauce or hot element that is used to flavor things typically is a no-name brand, but Herr’s has used Texas Pete’s Hot Sauce to add that little bit extra oomph to the mix.

What results is a type of chips that have a flavor of heat to them, rather than possessing a heat that will turn individuals away. What results is a heat that builds up gradually over a snacking session, which quickly dissipates just as soon as oone gets a drink of soda or other liquid. With about 8 servings per bag, the fat content is small enough (8 grams) in one that individuals should not feel as if they are breaking any sort of diet. Furthermore, the only thing that seems out of the ordinary is the sodium content (400mg).

Again, this only represents one-sixth of the RDA, so snack with impunity. On the flip side, the presence of dietary fiber will keep things going well, a nice change from other chips on the market that simply load their product with insane amounts of fat, sugar, salt, and other gross things. We’d love to give Herr’s some more love in the future, but keep an eye out on store shelves for their Hot Sauce Flavored Potato Chips as well as any other products that they may release in the days, months, and even years to come.
