It is nice to see that Nickelodeon is gradually moving to providing full season sets for their original shows. I always felt that the 6 to 10 episode collection style that is present in a number of companies’ inventories was a remnant of the VHS era, in which only a few episodes could be captured on a tape. With DVD (and Blu-Ray) formats possessing a great deal more space, whole seasons can be captured without anything in the way of signal (audio or video) degradation. The various episodes that comprise the 3rd season of iCarly are not hindered in any way, and fans of the show will be able to pick up the set for a hair under $20. The season ends with the three-part meeting with Victorious, which puts a solid cap on what seems to me to be the strongest season of iCarly yet. During this season, there is tension whether the show will continue, whether Carly will even live and where Freddie might ultimately hang eir head.

Make sure to pick up this (and the other two seasons) if you would like to get into the show; iCarly’s fourth season is slated to continue through 2012. At this price, there is no reason that this should not be purchased for either yourself or for a brother / sister / random family member for their birthday.
