Everyone Dies in Utah:

Everyone Dies In Utah is a hardcore/electronica band hailing from tiny Temple, Texas. Consisting of 6 members, EDIU is a band existing solely on positivity. They have taken numerous styles of music and begun to craft them into a sound that everyone can enjoy. Since recording their debut record “Seeing Clearly” with Taylor Larson (Oceanic Recording), which dropped March 1st on Tragic Hero Records, the band have been touring non-stop, Most recently with The Plot In You and Greeley Estates. EDIU were also was recently featured on Purevolume.com for their widely played cover of “E.T.” by Katy Perry. Within the last year Everyone Dies In Utah have established an impressive following and are continuing to grow in popularity. Keep an ear out as you are sure to hear their music blasting from speakers everywhere.

A Faylene Sky:

After their first release in 2007, “The Hero Vs. Us”, A Faylene Sky made themselves public to the Providence, Rhode Island music scene and began a journey to be heard. By the time their second EP was released in 2009, “Define Alive”, the band became widely recognized as an original new footprint in post-hardcore. The six-piece aims to excite a variety of different emotions for any listener, and tell stories within lyrics that stimulate the imaginations of fans. The members of A Faylene Sky will stop at nothing to deliver the most moving riffs as well as punishing breakdowns. They will tackle their obstacles as a team and celebrate their success as a family.

The band has shared their music to over six hundred fans at once as they headlined the national act venue of their state. They were also the winners of the Taste of Chaos Battle of the Bands contest, and were set to play in their home state with some of their very own influences. In April 2010, the band had once again made it to first place on the Purevolume.com Top Downloads chart upon the release of their cover of Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart.” The new cover has popularized the band even more this year. But, it is only an introduction to the new material that is soon to be released. The latest upcoming songs are expected to display the band in a new light with genius riffs and epic composition.

Serianna:

Serianna is navigating past its peers in pursuit of something worth preserving, systematically through the muddy gridlock of the current independent music scene. This metal-core squad continues to refine their unique sound while maintaining a solid reputation as one of the region’s most exciting and energetic live acts. Boasting determination as their greatest attribute, Serianna formed in late 2006 as merely high school friends with a bonded passion for heavy music. The lineup was solidified in 2009 when Chicago native Chris Nutting signed on as the band’s front man. Nutting quickly made his presence known contributing his raw and emotional vocal abilities and bringing Serianna to a previously unreached tier of musicianship.

Writing songs with a sound reminiscent of bands like August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada, Serianna set out to spread their music to anyone with an open mind and positive attitude. Jumping at every opportunity afforded to them, the band began growing rapidly around the Midwest and have played shows with August Burns Red, Attack Attack, Miss May I, Misery Signals, Chiodos, The Color Morale, Of Machines, Before Their Eyes, In Fear and Faith, Born of Osiris, I The Breather, Bury Your Dead, Suicide Silence, Emarosa, Bless the Fall, Iwrestledabearonce, and more. Serianna’s efforts culminated in 2010 as they began work on their debut full-length album, appropriately titled, “Inheritors.” This marks the tenure of the band as they mesh the style and intensity of the music they grew up listening to with the originality and technicality Serianna has come to be synonymous with.

Their hard work did not go unnoticed as Josh Grabelle (President, Bullet Tooth) tracked the band’s progress on the demos and invited the band to partner with his label Bullet Tooth. “We couldn’t be more excited to release this record with Bullet Tooth” drummer Chris Ferarro comments, “Over the last couple of months Josh has showed so much direction and interest in us that we’re positive Bullet Tooth is the perfect home for Serianna.” “Inheritors” is scheduled for a Summer 2011 release through the label which will surely mean a breakout year for the band. Despite any future hardships or unforeseen roadblocks, Serianna is determined to accomplish what they have been working toward all along; creating music worth remembering.

Through Arteries:

With a swagger so sick its contagious, San Antonio’s own Through Arteries is taking over the world. What started in a bedroom has turned into an all out musical assault. The band thrives off of its electronica based pop/hardcore jams, going hard with songs like “LOL nice…” & “F.O.M.O.K.O. Go!” and even calms down with poppier, dance crazed tracks like “Jay But Better” and “I Slept With Tom Delonge.” It doesn’t stop there though, the band prides themselves on never getting complacent, and making sure their live show outdoes their recordings.

2011 is going to be a breakout year for Through Arteries, who are going to releasing their first music video for “LOL nice…” shot by Duncan Johnson (Everyone Dies in Utah), and are recording a follow up record with producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack!, The Devil Wears Prada). Expect a new twist on the familiar sound from “The Life and Death of…” (on iTunes), getting heavier in parts, while also getting more catchy and fun.
