The main problem that I see with protein bars is that a great many of them are chock full of sugar; this alone makes it problematic for individuals that have diabetes to actually get the sort of additional protein or vitamins and minerals that they may need. Promax has just released a protein bar that has a low amount of sugar, so that individuals that have cut out sugar from their diet or have otherwise eschewed the white stuff can enjoy themselves.

There are two flavors of the Promax LS line – chocolate fudge and peanut butter chocolate. We here at NeuFutur were able to test out both flavors of this line, which do not contain high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, or artificial sweeteners. What results with the Promax LS is something that even individuals that are fans of normal protein bars can like. The chocolate fudge is easily equivalent to a candy bar, while the peanut butter chocolate is a perfect marriage of two distinct flavors. Where there is some sense in different protein bars that the flavor is just there to mask the taste of the protein, Promax is able to make a full experience of these protein bars.

What results with the Promax LS is a product that should be purchased by anyone that has a dietary sensitivity to sugar, or just gets too much of it with a normal diet; the taste is something that will not get old, even if the individuals purchases them at the box level. I’d like to see Promax expand their LS line in years to come, and I have no doubt that the sales of the original LS line efforts will be high enough to allow for that.
