The Prophecy 3 was perhaps the best Prophecy movie created in the franchise, and Echo Bridge has been tapped with crafting a proper adaptation of the film to the Blu-Ray format. I feel that the work the company has done to bring the flick to 2011 is without reproach; what they have produced here is a great version of a classic film without a high price tag. This 2000 film focuses on the trials of Danyael Rosales, who was the child of Valerie and the angel Danyael. Pyriel comes up against Danyael with gradually increasing levels of violence.

Where all of the plans that Pyriel has against Danyael fail, it becomes obvious to Pyriel that ey has to take matters into eir own hands. A cast that includes Christopher Walken, Steve Hytner, and Brad Dourif makes this film intense, action-packed, and more than a little dramatic. The film’s 84 minutes will keep viewers at the edges of their seats, while the dark environment possessed by the film will give some seriously creepy vibes. The third Prophecy represents the crux of the series; The Prophecy: Uprising and The Prophecy: Forsaken are two titles that finish out the franchise.

Echo Bridge is releasing a number of different modern classics on the Blu-Ray format every month; $50 or 60 should get you a nice selection of films that have largely been forgotten by the mass public. Check out what is on their slate for September and the rest of the year, and I believe that you will find a number of titles that you have forgotten about or otherwise missed during their original theatrical engagements.
