FMS News Alert (Interview/Photo/Video Opportunity) On Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 p.m., Big Mountain Entertainment will kick-off its Halloween Costume Party at The Clash Bar, located at 39 Harding Ave, Clifton, N.J. The show will be the first date of New York-based prog-rockers JOLLY’s U.S. tour. Opening for them will be a Top Unsigned Act of 2011 and Bamboozle artist Audio Insight (www.facebook.com/AudioInsig).

Formed in 2008, while recording their first demo JOLLY was offered a record deal with the Swiss based indie label Galileo records. In 2009, JOLLY released their debut album “Forty-Six Minutes, Twelve Seconds of Music” whose critically-acclaimed success caught the attention of Rob Palmen, manager for the premier Polish progressive rock band Riverside. Shortly after Rob took JOLLY on as clients, Riverside and Pure Reason Revolution decided to take JOLLY on tour with them in Europe in the spring of 2010. Soon after, Thomas Waber, head of the prestigious prog-rock label InsideOut Music saw the band live in Holland and decided to sign them. In March of 2011, JOLLY released their sophomore album “The Audio Guide to Happiness Part 1” which was featured in the acclaimed dutch rock magazine “Aardschok” as album of the month. JOLLY is currently booking a U.S. tour, and plans to head back to Europe in the spring of 2012.

Of the show, JOLLY drummer Louis Abramson says, “”We’re really excited to come out to Clifton and experience the scene Audio Insight has built up. These are a bunch of talented young musicians, and we’re pumped for the show. JOLLY loves you.”

Voted among the Top Unsigned Acts of 2011 by The Aquarian Weekly, Woodbridge, N.J.’s AUDIO INSIGHT spent Summer 2011 traveling the country to spread their music to new ears. So far this fall, the band opened the 19th Annual Edison Fall Family Festival, rocked Seton Hall University courtesy of 89.5 FM WSOU, headlined a benefit concert for children with cancer at the drummer’s alma mater (St. Joseph’s H.S. in Metuchen, N.J.), rocked The Trash Bar in Brooklyn for Fuse-TV and Jagermeister’s Exposed Music Festival and played shows at The Brighton Bar in Long Branch, the Freehold VFW and Casey O’Toole’s in Wayne.. This performance will be the band’s first visit to Clifton.

Of the show, AUDIO INSIGHT drummer Dan Sullivan says, “JOLLY is one of those bands that is really spear-heading our genre right now and has a sound that is unique and professional. Aside from being great musicians they are great guys too. I look forward to taking the stage with them and putting on a great show.”

After WSOU became the first to begin spinning tracks off of Audio Insight’s acclaimed debut album Dimensions earlier this year, the road this emerging talent has traveled since has been nothing short of impressive. A full press-release detailing the band’s most recent achievements ahead of the performance can be found below.

Playing alongside JOLLY and Audio Insight will be Love Assassin, a five-piece rock band from Northern N.J., and Mythology, a prog-rock three piece from Pennsylvania. Big Mountain Entertainment’s Halloween Party will also be offering prizes for best costume.
