Poland’s The audio-violence professionals at Poland’s Selfmadegod Records have confirmed the details of some upcoming releases being prepared for deployment later this year and in the early months of 2012, including ENCOFFINATION and STORMCROW, as well as split releases between CRYPTICUS/SCAREMAKER and MODUS DELICTI/ENEMY REIGN.

Death dealers ENCOFFINATION will plague the Earth with their new opus, O’ Hell, Shine In Thy Whited Sepulchres this November. Picking up where they left off with last year’s Ritual Ascension Beyond Flesh, this collection of new hymns redefines and magnifies ENCOFFINATION’s signature sound; suffocating doom wrapped in the pure stench of death. Based on Ghoat’s own experiences of working in the funeral industry, O’ Hell, Shine In Thy Whited Sepulchres is a concept album… not in the linear sense, but abstract; from the death of the human form to the sacrifice of flesh into the Earth. The album will be released via Selfmadegod Records this November; stay tuned for an official street date and more info on this anticipated slab of bereavement as it approaches.

Selfmadegod will reissue the long out-of-print sole full-length from infamous Oakland-based crust/death metal outfit STORMCROW in November. The now defunct act stormed onto the scene in 2005 with the release of their debut and only LP, Enslaved In Darkness, followed by a series of brutal split releases with Sanctum, Skaven, Massgrave, Laudanum and Coffins over the next four years. This official worldwide reissue of Enslaved In Darkness will reintroduce the album’s cruel Amebix-style crust infused with metallic riffs; a must-have for Bolt Thrower, Axegrinder, and Hellshock devotees. STORMCROW’s ominous tone built of thunderous drums, chunky guitar rhythms, intricate time patterns, and intensely dark vocals have helped the band become a well-respected name within the crust and metal scenes. The release also features artwork done by Rob Middleton (Deviated Instinct) and was recorded by Greg Wilkinsen of Brainoil.

Selfmadegod Records has also confirmed two new brutalizing split CD releases for the months ahead.

First up is a split between horror-inspired acts CRYPTICUS and SCAREMAKER. Featuring four new tracks from old-school death metal outfit CRYPTICUS, and their original tales of deadly scarecrows, black magic, and an undead HP Lovecraft, followed by five tracks from death thrashers SCAREMAKER’s thrashing death inspired by classic horror films such as Madman, Burnt Offerings, and Trick or Treat. This vicious juncture of two horror/gore-obsessed bands will appropriately feature amazing cover artwork from none other than the mighty Putrid, and is set to drop sometime in late November/early December.

And following in early 2012, a devastating split between Italian serialgrinders MODUS DELICTI and Colorado-based death squad ENEMY REIGN; one Selfmadegod has already dubbed as “the sickest split ever.” MODUS DELICTI was formed in 2004 by Clod the Ripper (Septycal Gorge, Blasphemer, etc.) and has since unleashed a trio of splits, an EP and a full-length album, in addition to multiple compilation appearances. The lyrics of these new songs are taken from original letters sent to the police from infamous serial killers including BTK, David Berkowitz and Jack the Ripper, and the music is tighter than ever, as always blending elements of brutal death and grindcore. Previously led by former Skinless vocalist Sherwood Webber, ENEMY REIGN’s lineup also features drummer Andon Guenther, co-creator of Sick Drummer Magazine. Formed in Denver in 2008, ENEMY REIGN self-released their debut Means To A Dead End EP in 2008, which brought immediate worldwide acclaim, eventually gaining official European distribution via Neurotic Records. Every moment of these tracks rage with the intense ENEMY REIGN concoction of early 90’s death metal, late 80’s grindcore and brutal East Coast hardcore, and are the last to feature the signature vocals of Webber, who has since left the band.

More specific information on these and other new Selfmadegod Records-style hostility will be announced in the coming weeks.
