Skyy Infusions Pineapple (Vodka)

I believe that this is the first time that we have had a Pineapple-infused (or even flavored) vodka. The genesis of our receiving this bottle came in a get-tgoether that we hosted. Where we have a number of different vodkas on our shelves, the one attendee asked us if we had a bottle fo pineapple vodka. Since we were not aware that this flavor existed, we simply had to try it for ourselves. Out of the different companies that product pineapple vodka, I believe the Skyy Infusions Pineapple is the best. First off, allowing the vodka to be tinged by the infusion process rather than merely using pineapple flavorant makes for a much more unique and tastier experience than would grabbing a bottle of the flavored stuff.

Secondly, I believe the base that Skyy uses is better than what other companies use – there is a refreshing crispness that is continually present no matter where one is at with their session. Finally, I believe that the spirit has a certain distinctness that makes whatever one uses it for stronger. While there is definitely a sense that the Skyy Infusions Pineapple works best in shot format, I feel that the quality of the Skyy is more than high enough to stand alongside other vodka efforts.

The vodka works well in mixed drinks, adding a tropical twist to whatever one makes. I personally loved the version of a screwdrive that I created using the Skyy Infusions Pineapple; I believe that martinis would be similarly strong using this product. Make sure that if you like pineapple in the slightest that you pick up a bottle of Skyy Infusions Pineapple from your local liquor store or state shop – you will not be disappointed.
