Columbia Records/Nickelodeon announced today that Big Time Rush will be hitting the road beginning late February 2012 for the “Better With U Tour.” Fans will be able to see the music and TV sensations, on hiatus from their hit series, as they embark on their first-ever headlining multi-city concert tour performing new songs in support of their album, Elevate, out Nov. 21. Big Time Rush will begin their electrifying tour in Las Vegas and will travel to major cities including a major performance at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall. Tickets will have a special pre-sale to American Express customers beginning Nov. 11 at 10 a.m., with a general on-sale Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Elevate is the highly anticipated follow-up to the group’s debut, 2010’s gold-certified BTR, which has scanned over 1 million albums worldwide. To date, Big Time Rush – Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson – have sold over 3 million combined digital tracks worldwide.

The group’s social media profile has risen just as quickly, with an online community of almost 400,000 Twitter followers and more than 2.3 million Facebook users.
Special support act One Direction will join Big Time Rush beginning February 24th in Chicago. The biggest UK breakout group of 2011, One Direction is ready to take America by storm supporting Big Time Rush’s 2012 tour. Their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” became the fastest selling single of 2011 and debuted at #1 in both the UK and Ireland.
