DUBSTEP PIONEER SKREAM ANNOUNCES “ANTICIPATE” SINGLE ON OWSLA/RINSE

Cited as the formative mind behind the global phenomenon that is Dubstep, the UK’s Skream has announced that his next single will be released this coming Sunday, November 13th on Rinse/OWSLA, the label started by Skrillex earlier this year. “Anticipate”, the 6th release from OWSLA, is one of it’s most approachable to date, with an earworm vocal line from Sam Frank and sparse, faintly familiar synth melodies. Two remixes accompany the original, it’s parts reassembled into a rendition that sounds distinctly Gallic, courtesy of French House veterans Cassius, and a Netsky production that draws influence equally from Drum ‘N’ Bass and Dubstep.
