Taylor Swift has been in the music industry for a number of years at this point, but the style and quality of music that ey creates has not dipped in the slightest. Journey to Fearless is a documentary into the creative process that leads into the creation of songs as well as massive concerts. All of Swift’s biggest tracks are contained here – Fifteen, Teardrops on My Guitar, Love Story and Picture to Burn are just a few of the many full-track performances that make it on. The video work here is stunning – while there has to be a considerable amount of focus given to Swift eirself, there are more than enough cuts over to drums, guitars, or to the crowd.

What results during each performance is something that closely approximates actually being at a live show. At a cost of about $11 at different online retailers, this is drastically cheaper than paying for any sort of tickets to a Swift show. Kudos to Shout Factory for making this release readily available, and for showing the glowing ball of energy that is Taylor Swift in a way that no other individual outside of eir inner clique has seen before.
