The Evens, a duo featuring Ian MacKaye and Amy Farina, will release a 2-song single, Warble Factor b/w Timothy Wright on Dischord Records on November 21, 2011.
The Evens have two full-length albums, released in 2005 and 2006, on Dischord Records. In 2008 the band took a break as Ian and Amy took time to tend to family matters. In 2011 The Evens began rehearsing regularly and entered Inner Ear Studios with Don Zientara in August to record two tracks, “Warble Factor” and “Timothy Wright”. The band plans to record a full-length in 2012 and will begin playing regular dates as well.
