XL Recordings has launched its new vinyl web store in the U.S. The label has asserted itself as one of the most important independents with diverse landmark albums such as the Mercury Prize-winning, self -titled debut from The xx; the most talked about new hip hop artist of 2011 – Tyler, the Creator’s Goblin; and Vampire Weekend’s Billboard #1 album Contra.

XL will also feature web exclusives such as Portishead “Chase the Tear” 12-inch single, which will benefit Amnesty International. The single won’t be in stores for another week, but is available now online. Copies of Dizzee Rascal’s out of print classic Boy in Da Corner, were uncovered in a warehouse in the Netherlands, and are now offered exclusively here. There are also limited quantities of the XL 2011 Vinyl Samplers for $10 or free with a $50 or more purchase. Along with all of these limited releases, the XL store will also feature vinyl titles from their current catalog.
