Bass Heads needing their fix in 2012 need not wait much longer, as freeform electronic artist Bassnectar AKA Lorin Ashton has announced his Spring Vava Voom Tour. Over the course of two months, Lorin and his crew will criss-cross the United States, painting the walls with bass along the way. The tour also includes previously announced dates at Avon, Colorado’s Snowball Festival and Miami’s Ultra Music Festival as well as appearances at Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Brazil.

The tour kicks off in Salt Lake City on March 2nd at the Complex. Fanclub Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on on Saturday, January 21st at 10 am EST, and are expected to sell out quickly as no other US electronic artist draws comparable crowds. Lorin also announced last week that he released a free Divergent Spectrum Remix EP on his website that features remixes from Bassnectar & Terravita, Steve Aoki, The Glitch Mob, Beats Antique and ill.Gates.
