Allison’s Invention continues to showcase her latest album, Sweet and Vicious, by offering the title track as a free download during the month of February. A sensual torch song about romantic pursuit, “Sweet and Vicious” will entice those who have sweethearts, those slain by Cupid’s vicious arrows and even those for whom “it’s complicated.”

Allison’s Invention is a music project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Allison Tartalia. Tartalia’s quirky and eclectic songs, performed on piano, ukulele and kalimba, have made her a popular performer at New York venues like Mercury Lounge, the Living Room and Joe’s Pub. The Emmy-nominated composer, who has shared a stage with the likes of Lelia Broussard, Petra Haden, Rachael Sage and Fred Armisen, will tour the Midwest this April and will perform select dates in the Northeast as part of the Joni Mitchell’s Blue: A 40th Anniversary Celebration.

“Sweet and Vicious” can be downloaded for free during the entire month of February via Allison’s Invention’s Facebook page. As an extra gift, those interested in downloading the rest of the record can do so at the discounted price of $3.00, also throughout the month of February.
