Atlanta Hardcore stalwarts Foundation are set to head out on tour supporting Comeback Kid starting March 18th in San Antonio, TX, just two days after their SXSW appearance at the Shirts For A Cure 10th Anniversary showcase.  All tour dates are listed below and the Symptoms & Cures tour, which also features Such Gold and Living With Lions, will take the bands to the South, East, Midwest, West Coast, and back again.  Still riding high on their B9 debut album from last year, When The Smoke Clears, Foundation is sure to be playing choice cuts off of the record KillYourStereo called “ten tracks of pure, unrelenting sonic violence” throughout the duration of the tour.
As a precursor, Foundation will hit SXSW in Austin, TX on March 16th on a highly-coveted slot at the 10th annual Shirts For A Cure showcase.  SFAC, in association with Slip Productions and Traxion Control along with Munitio Earphones, Out of Time Clothing and MerchNOW, is holding a free all-ages show with Hot Water Music, Braid, DYS, Darkest Hour, Comeback Kid, Coliseum, Anti-Flag, Tim Barry, Foundation, Such Gold, Living With Lions, Blacklist Royals, Seahaven, Beast of No Nations, Regents and Luther. This two stage free showcase will be held on Friday March 16th at Red 7 (611 East 7th Street, Austin, TX) with doors opening at high noon.
Foundation recently returned from their first tour to Japan, supporting Title Fight, which was an amazing run for both bands.  You can check out what Foundation’s vocalist, Tomas, had to say about the Japanese jaunt and his thoughts on the upcoming Symptoms & Cures tour here: http://www.ampmagazine.com/27439/amp-magazine-talks-briefly-with-some-the-bands-on-the-symptoms-cures-tour/.
