Many of the professionals that are currently making large decisions for companies grew up on Lunchables. If they have not, there is a good chance that they have had to deal with airline food. GoPicnic is a company that looks to sate both sets of individuals. By making a wide array of different meals, the company is able to give those too busy for a proper meal something that is tasty, healthy, and is preferred over a snack at the break room or similar option.

The GoPicnic also improves upon the little packets that are given on airlines. The shelf-stable aspect of the GoPicnic meals means that one can get down to eating and be back to work (or on the road) in just a few minutes. We received a few of these meals for review, and were absolutely surprised at what was present in each. The classic deli meals line is where GoPicnic shines the brightest. They offer four meals – Salami + Cheese, Turkey Stick + Crunch, Turkey Pepperoni + Cheese, and Beef, Cheese, and Crackers.

In each of these meals, individuals will get a meat, a starch, fruit, and a dessert. What results is a high-protein lunch that has a surprisingly small amount of calories (our Salami + Cheese meal only had 360 calories, or about 1/6th to 1/8th of one’s recommended daily allowance. While the meals that we received were focused on the meat side of things, GoPicnic does also provide vegetarian options. At a price below that of a fast food meal, anyone that is looking for a healthy alternative should seriously look into GoPicnic Ready-to-Eat Meals. Here’s to hoping that they enjoy strong sales and can continue to innovate – we’ll always have a few at our HQ for clients.
