It has been a while since we have been surprised by a new workout supplement company. It seems that many of these companies do little more than ape a product that is currently on the market without adding anything new or interesting to the mix.

Muscle Fusion is one of Punishment’s mainline products, and it is marketed at a price point ($60) that keeps it well within the budgets of anyone looking to move to the next level. Each scoop of the protein provides individuals with 21 grams of protein, while only giving one 5% of their recommended amount of saturated fat and 2 grams of carbohydrates. On the flipside, Muscle Fusion provides a tremendous amount of the vitamins and minerals that one needs – there are considerable amounts of Vitamin A, C, D, E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, and B6 (among a whole slew of others). Whether it be amino acid contents or considerable amounts of Calcium (Muscle Fusion provides 60% RDV), this whey protein more than makes up for anyone that one may have burnt off during their workout. We were able to test out Muscle Fusion, noticing lean muscle maintenance and building rather than catabolization. Whether used as a pre or post-workout shake, one will feel decidedly better after housing Punishment’s whey protein effort.

I want to see what the rest of 2012 holds for Punishment Nutrition. If these new products are a fraction of the quality of the Muscle Fusion, one would do well to pick them up whenever their supplies run low. The Muscle Fusion comes in a few additional flavors – Vanilla and Strawberry as well – so one can mix and match to make a considerable amount of unique drinks. Check them out on their website or on Facebook – I have a great feeling about these guys.
