Savannah Stopover Music Festival Adds 25+ Bands To 2012 Lineup

Savannah Stopover Music:

Over 70 bands, most of which are en route to SXSW, will fill Savannah’s small clubs and venues with the best up and coming indie acts. Bands have been hand-curated across multiple genres to represent an ideal microcosm of emerging excellence. Highlights include The War On Drugs, Grimes, Caveman, Oberhofer, Prince Rama, The Love Language, The Men, PUJOL, Guards, Girl In A Coma, The Knocks, Jukebox The Ghost, and SO many more.

Savannah Stopover Hospitality:

Savannah is nicknamed “The Hostess City” for good reason. Bands are treated to the best in Southern food, drink, merriment and hospitality and given the opportunity to stay in local Savannah homes. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast is not out of the question! Festival goers get to immerse themselves in the shamelessly social mayhem of the South’s most beautiful, vibrant and creative small city.

Created in 2011 by MusicFile Productions, a Georgia based LLC; Savannah Stopover is a four-day music festival that takes place the weekend prior to SXSW in Savannah’s famed historic district. Dates for the 2012 Festival dates are March 7th – March 10th. Visit the official Savannah Stopover site here for all the details.
