The Word Alive is excited to announce a U.S. tour this spring with co-headliners Attack! Attack! and Escape The Fate.

Kicking off in April, this will be the first chance for North American fans to see the band in 2012, and get a first listen to new material from their forthcoming album. Support will come from Mest and Secrets.

“Hey friends, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be direct support for Escape The Fate & Attack! Attack! this spring. We’re excited to play some brand new material, as well as possibly revisiting some old TWA songs for the original fans. This will be the first tour to feature both new songs from our upcoming album, as well as our new lineup,” notes singer Tyler “Telle” Smith. “Get your tickets early, bring your A game, and we’ll make sure to make it your favorite TWA show yet!”

The Word Alive heads into the studio this week to record their upcoming album with producer, Joey Sturgis (Devil Wears Prada, Attack! Attack!, We Came As Romans), slated for a summer release.

THE WORD ALIVE exploded on to the metal scene with debut album Deceiver, which debuted in the Billboard Top 100, and is now available in a special Deluxe Edition, which includes previously unreleased tracks, remixes, and the music videos of “2012 and “The Wretched”. The band has completed successful U.S. runs with A Day To Remember and Underoath, accompanied both Suicide Silence and We Came As Romans on two separate European tours, a spot on the entire Vans Warped Tour, The Fearless Friends Tour, and the Soundwave Festival in Australia at the end of 2011. The band has gained press support from Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Revolver Magazine, Outburn Magazine, received photo placement in Rolling Stone during Warped Tour, and was featured in Metal Hammer’s 75 Bands That Will Shape The Future Of Metal.
