ANDY GRAMMER’s 2012 is already shaping up to be an even bigger year than his rise to fame in 2011. His new single “Fine By Me,” the follow-up to his gold-selling, nearly platinum debut single “Keep Your Head Up,” continues its rapid ascent up the Adult Pop Radio chart to #16, mere weeks after its official release. With its intimate lyrics, sparkling pop melody and funky undertow, “Fine By Me” is further establishing the singer, songwriter and musician as a bona fide talent. GRAMMER will also release a special duet version of the song with Colbie Caillat on his live EP ANDY GRAMMER–LIVE FROM L.A., available Tuesday, March 13 exclusively on iTunes. The songs were recorded in January at the legendary Village Studios in Los Angeles in front of a live audience. Also included on the collection is unique cover of Rihanna’s “We Found Love” with string accompaniment.

Adding to the strong start to the year, the newly released music video for “Fine By Me” has climbed to #14 on VH1’s “Top 20” weekly video countdown (after debuting last week at #17). Filmed in Los Angeles with director Mark Staubach (Travie McCoy, Lupe Fiasco, Simple Plan), the video (which can be seen here) features Sports Illustrated/Victoria’s Secret model Dominique Piek as GRAMMER’s love interest and playfully looks at the ups and downs of relationships. GRAMMER’s music video for last year’s summer hit “Keep Your Head Up” reached the #2 spot on the VH1 countdown.

Meanwhile, GRAMMER has been invited back to “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to perform “Fine By Me” on Thursday, March 15 (11:35pm/10:35pm C). He first appeared last year to perform “Keep Your Head Up.”

This special announcement comes as GRAMMER wraps up his first U.S. headlining tour with many shows selling out and others being forced into larger venues to accommodate the growing ticket demands. At his final stop at Los Angeles’ House of Blues on The Sunset Strip this past Friday (3/2), GRAMMER invited Third Street Promenade busker Vanessa Rose to perform his new single “Fine By Me” with him. GRAMMER–who began as a street performer himself–discovered Rose the day before the show and was thrilled to extend the opportunity to perform in front of a packed venue. He recently used his Twitter page (@andygrammer) to offer advice to aspiring musicians with his Top Ten Tips for buskers.
