The overall presence of Christian films is the praise of Jesus or the teaching of specific morals. I believe that WWJD II fulfills both of these goals. However, this film does what most Christian cinema is unable to do – it entertains as it inspires. This is due to the smart direction of Terry Ingram just as much as it is the stars that grace this film. John Ratzenberger (Ernest Otto) is the wiley veteran of the cast, but Dakota Daulby’s debut feature film role as Matthew or Stephen E. Miller’s (Da Vinci’s Inquest, Best in Show) Sanderson may just give a Ratzenberger a run for eir money.

WWJD II shows the transformative role of Christianity in humanity. Matthew is on a straight path to prison, if not death, and vandalizes a church. Forced to work under Otto, Matthew gradually sees the error of eir ways and the value of faith. Christianity makes Matthew a better person, and saves eir from a life of sin. This transformation is very organic and one can honestly imagine an individual’s life taking this exact trajectory.

The only complaint that I have about this film is that the “WWJD” tag has been placed on it. I believe that Christian moviegoers would be able to see the value of the film even if this shortcut was not present. This means that viewers that have not seen 2010’s WWJD will not be left out of the loop – the characters, story, and paths that the movies take are considerably different from one another. This film is perfect for any youth group, church service, or faithful family – pick it up from your local brick and mortar store or any one of a number of different online retailers.
