American Music Award Best New Artist winner Hot Chelle Rae today announces summer tour dates in support of pop superstar Demi Lovato on her highly anticipated U.S. tour. The new dates kick off shortly after the band wraps another leg of their cross-country headlining “Beautiful Freaks Tour 2012,” which has already sold out in many top markets like New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta and more.

Hot Chelle Rae recently launched their brand new single “Honestly” and the music video for the song, featuring Ashley Benson from the ABC Family hit series Pretty Little Liars, racked up over 2 million views on VEVO within the 1st three days of its release. With over 4 million digital singles sold by the band to date, “Honestly,” co-written by Hot Chelle Rae, is already on the hit making path set by their platinum selling single “I Like It Like That” and its multi-platinum predecessor  “Tonight Tonight,” all featured on their sophomore album WHATEVER.
In addition to the album’s three smash singles, WHATEVER also features “Why Don’t You Love Me,” featuring future tour mate and guest vocalist Demi Lovato, finger-snapper “Radio” (with rising rapper Bei Maejor), the heart-melting ballad “Keep You With Me,” be-yourself anthem and headlining tour name “Beautiful Freaks,” and the title track, the “three in the air and you just don’t care” anthem for the now generation “Whatever.”  The NY POST calls WHATEVER “effervescent” and USA TODAY describes WHATEVER as an album full of “tight hooks, savvy cameos, and sing-along choruses so insanely catchy…Hot Chelle Rae is riding a great buzz.”

Declared “one of the catchiest pop-rock anthems of the summer” by USA Today, the album’s first single “Tonight Tonight” crashed into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July, shot to No. 1 at Hot AC radio in September, and was certified double-platinum in the U.S and Australia, and platinum in Canada. The band followed it up with “I Like It Like That,” which Entertainment Weekly called “bubbly elasti-funk” and an “official fall-resisting battle cry.”
