The latest single, “Let’s Get Naughty,” from the provocative, talented and punk-rock-meets-electronic-glitter Jessie and the Toy Boys, is quickly climbing the Billboard Dance Club Play Chart moving up this week to #21 – she’s in good company with the likes of Chris Brown, The Wanted and others in her direct path as she continues to climb the chart.

“Let’s Get Naughty was a fan favorite on the Femme Fatale tour last year, so it was important for me to make a video for the song,” said Jessie. “It’s one of the more playful songs I’ve written for Jessie and The Toy Boys, and it’s really fun to dance to.”

This Sunday, April 8, Jessie will take the stage at Jeffrey Sanker’s White Party Closing Party to perform this hit and other tracks from her forthcoming debut album due later this year.  Currently, Jessie Malakouti, the namesake of Jessie and the Toy Boys, can also be heard on DJ Felli Fel’s “It’s Your Birthday Bitch” featuring Lil Jon.

“The White Party goes off!” said Jessie. “The Toy Boys and I want to make sure we keep the party going, so we are planning a very high energy set for the big performance – nothing but up-tempo – keeping the bass in your face!”

Jessie Malakouti formed Jessie and the Toy Boys in 2008, upon a return to Los Angeles following a stint in the UK honing her songwriting skills, as an effort to break the mold and exist on the fringe rather than adhere to any rules.  Following signing with Prospect Park, Malakouti began working on her full-length debut, This is How Rumors Start, expected later this year, and set out on the road.  She recently opened for the pop songstress Britney Spears and Nikki Minaj along the US leg of the Femme Fatale Tour and took to the stage again for the first-ever Identity Festival alongside of some of the biggest names in electronic music including Kaskade and Skrillex.  She performed her first single “Push It,” featuring YelaWolf and produced by Jimmy Harry and No Doubt’s Tony Kanal, on Conan and has been featured in the likes of Rolling Stone, US Weekly, Life & Style, Music Connection and more.  With this increased exposure, and as Jessie continues to finish her forthcoming album, for which she writes all of her own material, audiences are beginning to take notice – Jessie exudes a kinetic energy that’s simultaneously infectious and invigorating.
