Phoenix-based grindcore act, LANDMINE MARATHON has been announced on select California dates to open for Nasum’s upcoming Farewell Tour. The band will be playing three shows starting on May 28th and concluding on May 30th. The band will be supporting their latest release, “Gallows”.which came out in September in North America and in January in Europe. “Gallows” was produced by guitarist Ryan Butler and features artwork by British artist Rob “Mid” Middleton (Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror). It earned “album of the month” honors in Terrorizer, who praised the band’s “killer riffs, righteous anger and a burning desire to fuck shit up.” A video for that album’s “Beaten and Left Blind” can be viewed below.

 In regards to the Farewell Tour, paying tribute to the late Mieszko Talarczyk, LANDMINE MARATHON bassist Matt Martinez stated: “We are honored and excited to take part in The Grind Finale of Nasum. Mieszko was such an important and powerful contributor to the world of extreme music. It is going to be great to take part in this farewell to the grind powerhouse that is Nasum!”

May 30th Los Angeles CA at The Black Castle

LANDMINE MARATHON were also just announced as part of the lineup of Metallica’s music festival, Orion Music and More. This two day festival will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey from June 23rd-24th.
