It is hard to create a vegetarian protein that stands up in quality to whey or beef proteins. I believe that MRM’s latest effort, their Veggie Protein, may just do that. Each 38 gram scoop contains 22 grams of protein; including two scoops into a glass of water will provide individuals with close to their RDA. Beyond that, MRM has included Omegas 3, 6, and 9 and an ORAC blend that increases overall health and ample antioxidants. The 7.5 grams of carbohydrates are incredibly lower for a protein, while there is a negligible amount of sugar present to sweeten the mix. This vegetarian protein, taken alongside a normal compliment of supplements, will ensure that lean muscle is built up, brain activity is high, and individuals will be at their peak physical and mental state.

The cost of the MRM Veggie Protein – $30 for a pound and a quarter – is cheap when one considers other efforts in the vegetarian protein market. While those that have chosen a vegetarian life will have to use a vegetarian protein, I feel that what MRM has included here is more than enough to get a few meat-eaters to the switch over. With a miscibility that renders the powder into a smooth shake as soon as one shakes their bottle, and a taste that resembles vanilla ice cream, there is no reason that an individual should not pick up a bottle of MRM Veggie Protein the next time that they are in the market. Check out the MRM website for full descriptions about their other product offerings. The chocolate, which was not reviewed here, has similar statistics; if an individual is not a fan of the vanilla, they can still benefit nicely from the chocolate.
