Chop Love Carry Fire, the band formed by former Brad bassist, Jeremy Toback, Eels drummer Butch Norton and Everest guitarist Joel Graves, have just unveiled a groundbreaking stop-motion video clip for “Save,” a track from their self-titled EP which was released last year.

Produced and Directed by Shipmate Title, a Los Angeles-based animation company, the video for “Save” took seven weeks to build and film. Through a highly labor intensive process, the filmmakers created a variety of other-worldly creatures evoking a deep connection with the planet and a search for spiritual meaning. The video can be seen in its entirety here:

This is the second clip released by Chop Love Carry Fire. A clip for the track “Want Nothing,” which made some noise on a variety of public radio stations, was released last year. Regular gigs in the Los Angeles area have created a growing, loyal fan base. The band is expected to return to the studio to work on new material in the coming months.
