I have been a fan of MMORPGs for many years, when I was given the chance to play TERA I was immensely excited. The first thing I would like to discuss is the scenery, TERA’s backgrounds and animation are outstandingly clear and crisp.

The colors used in the game are bright and enjoyable in contrast to other MMORPGs. TERA provides many options for character creation, multiple unique races and classes to choose form. Game set up is very simple you are given the choice of playing using the keyboard or a controller, myself I used a keyboard. Game play is easy and fairly intuitive, if you’ve played this style of game before you’ll get it instantly.

I played as a Slayer, the leveling was quick and informative. You start out on an island that is for the first 11 levels, the quests you receive help you learn while enjoying yourself. There is even a small instance you can run on the island. In the latter levels the game became more challenging yet still casual enough for enjoyment. If I were to point out any flaw I would say the game could use another instance between levels 11-20. It felt like ages to actually get a decent instance. All in all I would recommend this game to gamers of all ages and skill levels. You can play easily with a few of the classes while others require experience.

I’d give the game 8/10.
