Commando is the band’s stand out track and is one that will be garnering significant play as listeners find out about it. Far In Between is a track that ties together bits and pieces of a wide array of musical genres. Hints of Weezer, early emotive rock, and punk all unite during this introductory track. Sprinkle a little bit of Psychedelic Furs on the resultant mixture and one will have a good idea of what EndAnd can do. The beauty of this track comes in its overall density; listeners will have to spin this track a number of times before understanding exactly what the band has stashed. The EP continues along a solid path with the jazz-influenced Labor Force. The track’s instrumentation shines the brightest here, but the back and forth between the two sets of vocals allow the track to be spun off in an interesting fashion. The swirling wall of sound that hits listeners will have fans salivating for the next effort by EndAnd.

So What Now brings a little grunge into the equation; the band does not allow listeners to gain their breath as they immediately kick into high gear. The crunchy guitar lines are matched perfectly by vocals that are reminiscent of Greg Graffin’s (Bad Religion); the track is able to swing a perfect amount of harmony to keep listeners focused on in to the band’s EP. Pick up a copy of Adventures of Fi in Space and see exactly how eclectic EndAnd is; I would love to see the sort of controlled fury that they can wreak on a full-length effort. See the band live, check out any recordings they may release, and you can get on the ground floor of a band that is looking to shake up current music.
