Teams, the musical project of 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist Sean Bowie,
draws inspiration from blissful tunes of days past. Inspired by the 70’s and 80’s
the LA-based producer weaves chillwave and R&B to create addictive electronic
dance music. Today, White Iris Records releases Teams 7″ Love Distance /
Glow Fam. The A-side “Love Distance”, penned in a mansion in Venice Beach,
is a breezy electro number. Conversely, the B-side “Glow Fam”, which
features Ohio producer Dick Models, is grittier and distorted.

Teams’ first release, Catch Pool EP, came out in May of 2010, followed by We
Have A Room With Everything EP that August. Bowie then paired up with fellow
producer Star Slinger for a joint release, Teams Vs. Star Slinger, in 2011. Later
that year Bowie released Dxys Xff, a full-length album that made it into Mishka’s
NYC Top 100 Albums of 2011.
