Yeasayer have premiered a new track from their forthcoming album “Fragrant World.” The first proper single on the album, “Longevity” exposes a new found edge in Yeasayer. Lyrically, they hold up a social mirror in a way that made punk so effective, while bathing the lurching and heaving rhythm in a mechanized and otherworldly soul. The melody emerges understated and clean to form a undaunted vision for new music.
