BRAVE – The new studio album was released July 24, 2012 containing 10 tracks and available at select stores worldwide with an extended 15track version on iTunes!
“I live my life in a picture frame, I give my all even if in vain, I feel like a ghost in a candy store, but I was made for so much more.” Ryan Jordan
28 year old Independent recording artists Ryan Jordan, holds nothing back on his new album entitled Brave (2012), confessing the hardships of a working musician and reaching for the American Dream. Recorded in Madison Wisconsin, Jordan wrote and produced 9 of the 10 main tracks, collaborating with Ricci Lacour and Sean Foran of Echelon Affair and longtime friend and engineer Paul Schluter of Megatone studios.
Ryan Jordan, who cites the legendary Roy Orbison as an influence refers to himself as “a ghost in a candy store,” and although virtually unknown by many, his star is rising quickly in the music industry often being compared to Michael Buble, or Bruno Mars. Working full time and earning a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Ryan is an entrepreneur that raises the bar for struggling musicians everywhere sending the message that it takes more than musical talent to earn attention in the music industry. Singing, writing, producing, arranging, designing, branding, and packaging were tasks completed by Jordan with the release of his debut and sophomore albums.

Nearly 3 years have passed since the release of his debut album Blue Day (2009), which sold over 10,000 copies without the help of a supporting tour, and breaking independent records with his first radio single in 2011, “For A Little While,” Jordan experienced a taste of commercial radio success peaking at number 27 on the A/C Hot Main Charts.
Ryan’s new album Brave proves to be smart and innovative blend of Top 40, with a touch of Adult Contemporary, and just enough variety while still retaining its identity. With a comfortable blend of synthesized keys and electric guitar, Ryan combines his love for rock music with infectious beats that will leave listeners longing for more. Lyrically, each song is very personal but none compare to the final track on the album entitled “Perfect.” A track that hits home with a subject that Jordan and many other artists struggle with. Confronting his demon of insecurity. “Perfect” pulls at every heartstring with a haunting melody that is both classical and elegant. From the smooth and sexy sound of tracks “If You Knew”, and “Blow it Up”, to the contagious dance floor groove of “Dreaming of”, and the Rock tainted title track “Brave”, the album is sure to satisfy your every mood! Ryan is currently seeking a major label to take his career to the next level of success.
